Team Meeting October 2013

Tonight’s meeting was extremely productive, with the new website just launched and lots to run through. We have begun work on the planning on the Guinness Book of World Records Awareness Ribbon and how we can include all schools in Western Australia. How exciting!

Beverley Heckingbottom from the Beverley Margaret School of Dance has signed up to be the Director and provide us with all of the Choreographers and dances for the next Keep the Flame Alive dance. Welcome Beverley!

Lord Mayor says “Yes!”

lord-mayor

The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Lisa-M. Scaffidi confirmed she will be returning to the Keep the Flame Alive Encore performance in April 2014. After speaking with her about the 2012 performance she was very enthusiastic to come back and show of her dancing talents once more. This will all be for the Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundations new annual event Keep the Flame Alive. We look forward to seeing the Lord Mayor and all of the general public join us once more to showcase how talented Perth people are.

First Team Meeting for 2013

Keep the Flame Alive first team meeting. Tonight we met with our new and old team members. Welcome to the latest members of this volunteer group. We can’t wait to get started on the planning for the next Keep the Flame Alive project.
